Wade Fuqua is a second year masters student in the University of Louisiana at Monroe’s Marriage and Family Therapy Program. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR in 2010 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology and Interdisciplinary Studies. For the first year of the MFT program at ULM, Wade served as the Programs Recruiter, and he is now a Graduate Assistant with the Models for Change project funded by the MacArthur Foundation. Wade is also a member of the 4th Judicial District Juvenile Drug Court treatment team where he works with families who are mandated due to their teen’s involvement with drug court. Wade is also a student therapist intern with the NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units of St. Francis Medical Center.
